Elon Musk on Friday posted a message to his partner, Grimes, on social media which read: ‘x is y.’ The message was written on a Twitter thread in which Grimes is seen sporting a baby bump. “Grimes is dating Elon Musk.” I fell silent for a second, then let out a laugh. You almost got me there.” She looked at me. “I’m serious.” I was still laughing. “No.” She gently placed her phone in my lap. The number one trending topic taunted me from the screen: Grimes attending the Met Gala with her boyfriend, Elon Musk.
Grimes has been blasted on social media as she reveals she “finally” got Covid-19 and is “weirdly” enjoying it.
The Canadian singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, lives in Los Angeles where COVID-19 cases have surged in recent weeks.
Grimes took to Instagram Stories to reveal she has COVID-19. 'Finally got COVID but weirdly enjoying the DayQuil fever dream ... 2021' she wrote, followed by a leaf and fairy emoji.
Her quirky response to getting the virus that has killed nearly 2million people globally was met with a mixed reaction on social media.

One account said: “Grimes has tested positive for COVID. The singer said the diagnosis was delayed as she lost her sense of taste two years ago when she started dating Elon Musk.”
Another said: “Grimes saying she’s ‘weirdly enjoying’ getting COVID-19 is the least surprising thing of all time, to the point where I feel like it happened several times last year already”
Others were more supportive of the Oblivion singer, one fan wrote: “Grimes getting Covid is the worst news of 2021.”
The singer filmed herself brandishing a samurai sword and swinging it around in the futuristic house she shares with Tesla founder Elon Musk complete with silver robot levitating behind a glass cage.

“Using my quarantine to master the blade. Never felt so Dune”, she posted in reference to the science fiction novel as she flips the sword around with some skill.
In November, her boyfriend blasted coronavirus testing when he got two positive and two negative results.
At the time, Musk tweeted: “Something extremely bogus is going on.
“Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse.”
Grimes has been with Musk since 2018. Their son, X Æ A-Xii, was born in May 2020.
